Debórah - TV Talk Show Host

Bringing You The Stars, Their Stories, and The Performances

The Genesis

Debórah Benton has been producing ‘live’ and prerecorded media content for decades. Her intense inquisitive nature and love for ‘story’ has kept her behind the camera asking questions since she earned her Bachelor’s in Communications from Bowling Green State University. Immediately after college, she worked in Televangelism for many years before yielding to the urge to try something on her own. She launched her first weekly TV show, "Valley Gold with Debórah" in her living rooms and months later she relocated her operation into a commercial facility that accommodated a house band and live studio audience. Since that time "Valley Gold with Debórah" has experienced numerous transitions, some successes, as well as challenging setbacks along the way. Today, the show is back in rotation via traditional broadcast television and some digital platforms (ROKU, Vimeo, YouTube), and here on the company’s official website.

Debórah Benton is a versatile singer. In addition to “Deja Vu - The Dionne Warwick Tribute Show,”  Debórah often covers songs by major hitmakers such as Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight, Marvin Gaye, Dianna Ross, Donny Hathaway, Roberta Flack, Oleta Adams, Rachelle Ferrell and music from the Classic Soul Music era.

Debórah’s ‘Live” performances are backed by award-winning musicians who are often seen playing for major A-List artists such as Babyface, The Ohio Players, Toni Braxton and other world-renowned artists. Her shows bring together the best to assure her audiences experience a most amazing magical night of entertainment.

Who Is Debórah

Like many African American singers. Debórah started singing in church choirs and ensembles. Debórah began writing songs in her late teens. Audiences always noticed that even her songwriting reminded them of the iconic Burt bachrach- Dionne Warwick - Hal David Trio.

Debórah earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Bowling Green State University and immediately began working  in media and entertainment;  producing and hosting TV and Radio as well as live events while inwardly longing to return to the stage as a singer. Debórah returned to college and earned a M.S. in Entertainment Business (Full Sail University) and began producing more in Live-to-Tape events. Finally, in January of 2020, Debórah was invited to go on a 30-day tour to Australia with a Motown tribute act. She accepted the invitation and there the flame to perform was reignited- "Never to be extinguished again," according to Debórah.

Since then, Debórah has been intentional toward incorporating her voice and music into all of her projects. Her efforts are being rewarded as she is receiving more offers to gig.
